If dad is getting friendly with the workers at the center, he may try the same with you and even if he doesn't, mom may keep her eyes on you and him since she seems to have lost trust in him. Rather than switching care, she should consider speaking with her husband about what seems to be a marital issue. You DO NOT want to be a part of that.

Yeah, but then what if she starts think the hubby is seeing me? I really didn't want to deal with that...plus she said the hubby would be picking their son up occasionally....I don't think I'd be able to meet him or form a good provider/parent relationship with him having already heard about his 'possible' issue...I just wouldn't be able to withhold judgment having already heard the mom.
