Gosh, Sad she's in that situation but you are so right for not signing her. You had weird feeling going into interview. How right you were.

oh wow. I completely feel sorry for her. Can you imagine?

If that's the case, and the money was a ruse to arrange the interview, I would absolutely consider taking her on. She was probably trying to use $$$ to justify a switch with her husband.

Yikes, that stinks. I wouldn't take them though. If dad is getting friendly with the workers at the center, he may try the same with you and even if he doesn't, mom may keep her eyes on you and him since she seems to have lost trust in him. Rather than switching care, she should consider speaking with her husband about what seems to be a marital issue. You DO NOT want to be a part of that.

              Wowza!

              I agree with mommyneedsadayoff.

On a side note, people can be so sleezy! This wouldn't be the first time a parent got it on with their child's care giver. Just icky.

On the other hand, I'm just skeptical enough not to necessarily believe that story either .... either way, too much drama

Yeah, but then what if she starts think the hubby is seeing me? I really didn't want to deal with that...plus she said the hubby would be picking their son up occasionally....I don't think I'd be able to meet him or form a good provider/parent relationship with him having already heard about his 'possible' issue...I just wouldn't be able to withhold judgment having already heard the mom.

Exactly! That's why I emailed her and let her know that I didn't think we would be a good fit and wished her luck.

Good move on your part. We just never know the full story. And coming with a story is never a good start. happyface
