DC Kids' Last Day -- Really Going To Miss Him!

Today was dcb's last day. As much as I complained about him in the beginning, he came such a long way in his 2 years here. His parents brought me a sweet gift and asked me to text them to meet up at the park for playdates with the other kids. Even though they are not our kids, it's so hard to see them go! Especially when you really like the family.

:hug: For me, letting go of the kids I've come to love is one of the hardest parts of this business. A lot of my kids ask to come back during school vacation weeks, summer vacation and snow days so I focus less on the fact that it's their "last day" and more on the fact that I will probably see them again soon. Even if they never do come back, my little mind game gets me through that last day without getting too upset.
