So I've had dcps of a 15 mos mention that they've started using the potty at home. They haven't asked for me to start doing anything here but I am putting out this fire before it starts.
I'm digging out my potty newletter and am wondering if this is too blunt or ridiculous on my part to add. I've read Nannyde's article and have used it as a guideline for what I'm sending but want to address that I won't work with children who are not even close to training.
I will work with children to potty train who, in the daycare setting:
*can dress and undress independently
*verbalize the need to use the bathroom
*get on and off the toilet with minimal assistance.
(all of which this dcg cannot do
