    Goodie Bags for Parade

So the Mem. day parade is Monday. DH will be home and he is driving the car in it for me with my daycare magnets to hold the goodie bags, because they will be heavy. DD, her friend and I are going to pass out goodie bags. Right now I have 95 bags made up they either have 2 sidewalk chalks OR a small bottle of bubbles, a business card, a dum dum pop and a lifesaver. It is a town of around 3000 give or take. How do you decide how many bags to make for something like this? The only reason I am doing bags is I couldn't find a better way to attach a card. The bubbles and the chalk are leftover from my prizes at Family fun night. Part of me doesn't want to buy anything else, the other part of me says no biggie I can give it out at Halloween. DH says just give what I have if I run out I run out. I am more thinking that one person who doesn't get a card may be the person that will call me.

My worst fear happened! I made about 170 bags and ran out half way through the parade! My other issue that happened was the cars moved to fast I couldn't keep up. Next time I am going to throw from the vehicle or something.

Oh no! Well, at least you got your name out there. Hoping you get some kids!

Yeah but I can't shake the feeling that the ones that didn't get any would have been the ones that called. I am also doing goodie bags at halloween with a business card. The cheapest bags I have found are the sandwich ziplocks (I wanted ones I could close) 45 bags for a buck at dollar tree. Anyone found a better deal?
