Can anyone give suggestions on quieting a child who must hear her own voice 24/7? Seriously, she talks nearly every minute she is awake, and if it's not talking, it's nonsense noises. Her therapist has not been able to help me with this one.
I used to have those noise cancelling construction headphones for the kids in my classroom. When they're on, their own voice is amplified so they tend not to talk as loudly.
