Member but logged out for privacy, I think some of my parents stalk me on here! LOL, jk...but you never know.
Currently I have two infants and three toddlers who are approaching preschool age. I have decided that I would like to offer a preschool only program and so would need to let my infants go. I don't really want to but I need to for my own sanity! With a preschool program I could cut back my work hours, work less days (I'm looking to offer a 3 or 4 day program only) but still make roughly the same income (more kids for lower price) and then would have time for myself and the classes I would like to take.
I'm just not sure how to notify the families of this change. I don't want to notify them too early in case they decide to leave right now but I'm thinking on starting preschool in January after winter break.
When would be the best time to let them know? How should I tell them? Anyone else have any experience doing this? TIA
