    Croup

Would you let a child come who was diagnosed with croup yesterday?

It depends on if there are other symptoms along with the croup. Croup is caused by a viral infection. So, the virus itself is contagious, but not every child will get croup (narrowing of the airways/barky cough) from the virus.
If there is a fever; I personally would exclude for 24 until fever free and able to cheerfully participate in activities.

        no!

No I will not let a child who was just diagnosed with croup come to daycare. If you let them come they will cough all over and everyone will end up with it! Coup is contagious! Kids with this need to stay home and rest. Twice I let a boy come with it and sure enough all 12 kids got it and it did not matter how much you bleach toys and surfaces.
