    Lunch Time Drama

So I have this little one that starts crying about fifteen minutes before lunch and no matter what we do he cries all through lunch. He rarely touches his food, we've gotten him to eat a few gold fish which calms him down for a minute or two but then the crying starts up again. My boss says we should hold him more but it's not possible when we're trying to feed the other children and if we hold him he won't eat at all. He's only been with us for 3 weeks and at first we thought he was still adjusting to a new place and new people, its also the first time he's been away from his parents so thats probably factoring into it.

I'm almost to my whits end with this one and I'm out of ideas. And I've got a boss, that's never spent a significant amount of time with this child, who's always on my case about him crying so much and his parents are angry because he's not eating his lunch. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Well, you can't make him eat. I don't know what they re expecting you to do. It's his choice ya know.

How old is he? I've had kids do this before. It was because they knew nap directly followed lunch! Lol. They did get past it pretty quickly.
