    Would this be too weird?

So my dds are having new teachers this year and we finally found out their names.

I have an interview next weekend with a teacher who is very interested in the spot.

I've finalized setting up the time and thought: gee, her name sounds familiar....

So you can see where this is heading.

This is going to be my youngest dd's teacher. Is it too weird or will it be too conflictual? Should I bring it to her attention before the interview do you think?

I think if you are both professionals it should be no problem. I would bring it to her attention upfront and during the interview gauge her level of professionalism. If you really think it would be difficult I wouldn't do the interview at all.

I agree with this reply. It should be fine, just keep the communication completely open and yes, do mention you are the parent of one of her students.

I keep a Dcg whose parents are teachers at my girls school. Only drawback I've found, they can't carpool. Lol

Funny, that's the first thing I thought. Too bad she couldn't bring the girls home after school. ::
