Help For Lunches For Daycare Day's

    Hi everyone,

My sister and her partner are looking to send their baby to daycare, they both live busy working life's. What does every one on here do in relation to packing food or do your day care's provide food for the children?

This is a forum for child care providers. For most of us, our children stay with us, and are fed what we feed the dc kids at meal times.
I would guess most of us provide the food for our clients as we can participate in the Federal food program which gives us some reimbursement for the meals provided.

A majority of child cares (both centers and in-home family programs) participate with a food program funded by our federal government.

This program helps assist providers in providing healthy well balanced meals to all children in attendance.

There are some programs that have the children supply their own meals and snacks and leave the contents up to the parents, provided of course the meal is somewhat healthy and not just junk.
