    Reflux again :(

Alright, so same DCG....mother changed formula and brought doctors notes and everything but still no improvement I know it can take a while for the new formula to take effect but she actually seems worse today! Non-stop vomiting....I SMELL awful and it's giving me a headache. My bigger DCB has been walking around pinching his nose and saying "eww, yucky!" at me all day long and this is the 3rd shirt I've worn in just 8hrs. And then what is probably the last straw is that earlier today I slipped in a puddle of it and my hip is now hurting really badly (and already has a big bruise forming) so I'm going to have to go to the after-hours clinic tonight or tomorrow morning....I just don't think it's worth trying to push on through this anymore she is a sweetie otherwise. I'm not sure if I should tell DCM I fell or not....Opinions?

In my experience, I've seen a difference in as little as 12 hours of using a new formula, and a complete turnaround in 3 days if the formula is working. I think it was mentioned before, but soy formula has always fixed things for kids that I have had-doctors always want to try sensitive formulas or Nutramigen or things like that first, but soy has always done it here. Is the child on reflux meds?

Yes, this. ^^ They had me try soy and it made no difference in 48 hours so they had me switch to nutramigin. That helped somewhat. (I wasn't drowning in baby spit up) His reflux med, Prilosec, was the only thing that truly worked. But there is no way I would have endured all that for anyone else's baby.
