This is going to take some work. I obviously have not been "mean" enough. I guess I will have to revamp my nap mean factor. This entire naptime I have the Eagles song "Witchy Woman" going through my head, because I'm pretty sure that's what I sound like!
Naptime suggestions

I have one dcg who has a blanket that she loves! At home she gets to carry one like it around, here it is naptime only. She knows she has to lay down if she wants her blanket. If she gets up I take it away and she gets it back when she lays nicely on her cot. Is there something your dcg loves to have or do that could be your if you lay nicely you can have or do after nap? Sometimes you have to amp up the reward/punishment until you find their price. Some days I feel like the wicked witch, but I must be doing ok because all my little ones come happily to me every morning!- Flag

I wish I had more specific advice. I wouldn't have a problem with a 3yo in a pac n play who made the choice to not stay on his bed. He can earn it back. Not a big deal IMO.
A lot of it is habit. My kiddos are in the habit of being good nappers. The training is harder than maintaining it. Once they get it you won't have to be so "mean" or have such "special" treats after nap since they will be in the habit. But for a while think BIG treats/Activity etc after nap until they settle into it. I also did sort of the opposite of a sticker chart for my DD once (when she was 3 she was the worst!) I used a 1/4 piece of paper to make the small chart. I cut the paper so there were 4 tabs or little rectangles that could be easily torn off (think an ad with phone #s you can rip off) then any time she was moving around, talking, being a booger etc. I walked over to her bed and ripped off a tab (I didn't talk or look at her, it was all about attention for her) She got as many M&Ms as she had tabs left. When she was napping great consistently we phased out the chart. Shameless bribery occasionally works
