Just saw this on Facebook: Someone snapped this pic of a childcare center's van in Sioux Falls, SD, and the vehicle was moving! SMH!

Not trying to discredit the poster but I've never seen a quick snapshot taken of a moving vehicle that had such a clear and non/blurred background. Kwim?

I am a HUGE advocate of safety in a car but I don't know, it just doesn't "appear" that the vehicle is moving. It almost looks like they are sitting and waiting...

I thought that, too. The person posting this says that this photo was taken of the van on a street, and that they were driving. Maybe they were at a stop sign, I don't know. I can't believe that the kids wouldn't be buckled in even if they were waiting for someone. The intent to buckle them up doesn't appear to be there. I always buckle up BEFORE I get into the driver seat, as I am sure others do, too. That's why I chose to believe the poster.

A parent on their facebook page claims that her daughter told her that they "have to" do this because some days, they have too many kids to fit in car seats.

You're right. I don't believe most of what I see there. However, the center did take responsibility for this, and said they were dealing with that "staff issue".

I would think that type of "staff issue" would be punishable by law and required to be reported to licensing. That would be how a child care facility here in my state would be required to deal with it.

Bummer that the center/staff person even thought that something like that was okay...

Wow! That driver is really good. I don't see her hands on the steering wheel, either.

If that's true then WOW! That "staff issue" at most places I worked would be a quick conversation- "What the #+*^ were you thinking?" & "Where do you want your last check mailed?" Definitely have to be reported to DCFS.

Oh yeah, Dave...I've been meaning to ask you for you bank account info and your social security number...

My great great Aunt (twice removed) who lives in Bangladesh just passed away and needs to send the inheritance she left me but I don't have a bank account so if you could just cash the check and send the funds to me, you can keep $100 yourself for your time.
