I am not sure what I am more angry about the fact that it happened, or that mom is covering for the father. I find it hard to believe that this child got hurt so badly when someone "tripped" while holding him. IF that happened, how messy was the house for it to happen?

A grown man falling on a 5 mo after tripping will cause serious damage, but your natural instinct is to put your hands out to catch yourself when you fall, so I would think there wouldn't be that many injuries on the baby if that were true. With this man's past, and the differing stories, it leads me to believe that was a lie. So sad.
