    Which Diapers/Pull-Ups/Wipes Do You Prefer?

Just curious.. which diapers, pull-ups, and wipes brands do you prefer and why?

Do you provide diapers or wipes for your dck's or do you make parents supply them?

I feel like I've tried EVERYTHING now (name brand and generic) and I like pampers diapers and easy-ups the best. My dcb poops ALL THE TIME and it's the only brand that consistently holds it in. And my daughter, on the other hand, pees a ton at night and pampers is the only thing she won't wet through. I do like BabiesRus brand pull-ups for daytime though.

I've found I like Huggies wipes the best. I find they come out one at time and so I use less than when I've tried pampers and target brand. I seem to waste more in those brands.

I provide wipes, but make the parents supply the diapers. However, I've thought about providing diapers and changing my rates a bit to reflect this.

What do you like best? What do you provide? Do you find that one brand of diaper works great for one kid and not for another? For those of you that provide diapers, do you find that parents like or dislike this?

I purchase the sams club wipes, unscented for use in daycare. I choose to provide wipes as I use them for everything, and don't want to have to get each ones pack of wipes for all different things. If I were to provide diapers I would go with Luvs. They are what I used for my children, and I think they work fine for a good price. It kills me when parents buy the premium diapers, when I know cheaper ones work just as well. I have considered offering diapers because I can be a bit scatter brained and have forgotten a time or two to tell parents they were needed. I do keep a pack of diapers here in case of my forgetfulness, but depending on how much you charge for providing the service most parents would probably just prefer to bring their own.

I do not provide wipes or diapers. The parent is responsible for this as every parent is different and has their own opinion on what they want for the children. I have one parent who does everything eco-friendly and organic so she uses the yellow packaged one. The name escapes me at the moment. I dont like the diapers as I feel they soak through easy but I do like the wipes. I also have a parent that brings Pampers wipes and diapers. I have no problem with either one. For my own children, I used Huggies. I love them and their wipes.

My parents bring a thing of Huggie wipes the first of the month, but one of my dcm brings a large pack of Huggie wipes each month. My parents know we use them for the daycare on everyone. I bought the wal mart brand wipes and I hate them. They will not come out one at a time. I perfer the huggie wipes! One mom buys off brand diapers and I like them, another mom buys huggie pull-ups and last mom buys huggie diapers.

I supply wipes and diapers. My parents love it. Its also less work for me and headaches when parents do not restock the cubby or forget. I do not use pullups. Waste of time and money. I buy only Pampers diapers or luvs. Wipes are Walmart brand or bjs

I only supply wipes and I prefer huggies over any, I will spend a little more just to use those. As far as diapers all seem fine at least the ones my parents currently use.

LittlePeople..do you mean the walmart ones won't come out one at a time or huggies? My huggies come out one at a time and that's why I prefer them.

I use either huggies or pampers depending which are on sale at the time. I will not buy anything other than huggies wipes. I provide all diapers, wipes, food, milk, juice, sippy cups, bottles etc....(I provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and also dinner for the children who are here past 4 30 as that is when my son has his dinner)

I also provide changes of clothing, jackets/slush pants/ snowsuits/swimsuits etc for my children. I have clothing for all of the children in each of their sizes. Its just easier for me to do it this way. I do not have to keep track of anything! It has worked perfectly for me for 5 years now and parents LOVE it!!!! All mom has to do in the morning is bring me the child and that's it! No bag to pack for her!

Parents supply wipes and diapers although I do contribute to the wipe supply because I use them for hands and faces and little messes too. Parents bring any kind except generic because the generic do not last as long and are thin. I do allow Target generic because they seem alot thicker. My only request is to bring unscented because I have eczema on my hands and fragrances and scents bother me. Parents supply diapers (their choice on brand) but I keep extras too. I prefer not to use pull-ups but I don't like discouraging parents from starting to potty train by saying so their option.

thats exactly what I do, except I don't provide diapers, but everything else I provide. this way its easier than trying to remember who had what with them esp. now, I have gloves that come in and no one can remember who they belong too. also I don't need parents lugging in all sorts of stuff that I have no room for. I have 4 kids so I have ample supply of clothing in any size you want, even shoes. Food, same thing, its easier for me to feed them than having some children who ate breakfast, some who didn't, thats why the parents like it here, they don't have nothing to worry about. heck, at christmas time, dcp is a hairdresser gave all the kids free hair cuts for christmas, how awesome is that.

I do not provide wipes and diapers the parents do. I like huggies, luvs, or target wipes they hold up good these are what I used for my kids and I love luvs diapers this is also what I used on my kids. 1 parent puts their kid in luvs and the other child is cloth diapered they are all in one cloth diapers its just like changing a regular diaper and its less trash for my house.

I don't get parents who bring generic diapers to my house and yet I notice when the child arrives they have on a name brand one...always makes me wonder what they think I do with the diapers they supply...it is their kid still who is wearing the diaper. If the parent thinks they should wear a name brand diaper at home why don't they get the same one here? It isn't like I'm using them so they are just being cheap because they have to share...no one shares diapers. Each child has their own cubbie/basket in bathroom with their things labeled. I never understood that. I suppose they could be wearing different ones because night time peeing is different than daytime peeing (?) I dunno...just makes me wonder...

I prefer the Pampers brand as I have had no issue with them leaking pee or poo. As for wipes I prefer the Kirkland brand (Costco) because they are thick like the Huggies brand and come out one at a time instead of like 4 at a time and they are moist. I also like them because their smell is light. They are also very inexpensive since you buy them in bulk. I also get my Pampers diapers from Costco. I should add that this is for my own child.

Do you provide diapers or wipes for your dck's or do you make parents supply them?
Parent's supply their child's diapers and wipes. That way if they have a preference then they can provide them.
