10 to 1, she is lying. It's a VERY common phrase when parents KNOW their child has an issue that makes providing care tough on the provider....
They use that logic thinking that if it's only happening on your watch, it's your problem.
If the situation does not improve and you end up terminating care, that is your out. When mom says it doesn't happen at home, you tell her that since it only happens on your watch that it proves you are not the right fit for them because you obviously can't replicate home for the child.- Flag

Ok sorry, I KNOW this is wrong and I shouldn't laugh but....DCM picked up baby early today and asked me how the day was. I told her sweet baby had been puking again and that I had to change shirts and wash the floors...again...but that everything was fine otherwise. It was almost time for baby's bottle so I offered to let DCM use my chair and feed baby so that she didn't have to wait to eat as she was already starting to cry for it. DCM settled down, fed baby, then proceeded to burp her....sweet baby puked ALL OVER DCM! She also managed to get it all over the floor again, on the changing table next to DCM (!?), and all up and down DCMs shoulder, back, and chest. I simply shrugged and said "Yeah, that's what happened earlier..." to which DCM said "I'm sorry, I have some blankets to clean up with in the car...we'll just be leaving now."- Flag

yes I just cannot believe that all this only happens at daycare. If she is vomiting that bad and that often, no wonder she is crying. Part time care if very hard on infants. It is normal for them to cry with the change of environment and the change of caregivers......of course they just want their mom. Added to the reflux issue and I personally would term at this point. There are A LOT of providers that do not offer part time care for infants and this is why. Even if she didnt have reflux, I would imagine that you would still have a crying issue. It is rare for a part time infant to be able to handle the coming and going involved with daycare.- Flag
