Our Cardboard Playhouse

Earlier this week, I found 2 refrigerator boxes in the alley. We've worked all week making this playhouse out of them. There are still some things to finish on the inside, but the outside is done. The kids are super excited.....actually I am too!

I let the kids take empty boxes and make forts for days before we end up having to toss them. I've never gone as far as you and decorated them so cute but will definitely consider doing so the next time we get a big box!!!

Thanks! I usually let them play with boxes however they choose....sometimes I cut a window or two, and let them color on them. I got so excited when I saw those boxes--my heart was racing! Lol

One of the projects on my list is an indoor playhouse. I'm thinking that I'm going to make a fitted tablecloth for our folding card table.

I am sooo jealous. I got a new fridge a few weeks ago and the guys that delivered it wouldn't give me the box. Well according to them they said they stripped it of the box then put it on the delivery truck.

I was so bummed!!!

Wow, you are one creative daycare provider!!! That is so cool!!!
When I bought an 8-in-1 a million years ago, we duct taped the boxes it came in all together, cut out a few windows and used it for everything. But I didn't decorate it all up. It took up half my playroom but was worth it.
