    Taking July Off

At the end of last summer I gave notice to all my families that I would be taking the month of July off. Last summer was rough and I miss spending time with my own kids. They are older now and involved in so many things. Well, it's finally here! I'm so excited. I will definitely continue this every year. The families had a year to plan ahead and everyone has their arrangements made with a high school sitter or family. I was feeling so guilty about it before but now I welcome the break!

Glad it was received well. I am trying to get families but would love to be able to do that to still go on the semi for a few weeks. If I can enroll a few good families, I may copy and try it. Gotta get them good families first.

Fridays off sounds wonderful! I'm still hoping at some point I fall into only teachers' kids and have summers off. Sigh...a girl can dream. 😉
