Today is the last full day of school for my SA kiddos. So we are throwing a surprise Luau party, complete with pizza, cupcakes, leis and a hawaiian cup full of treats to take home.

I've only had 8-10 kids all week (normally it's 16) so the days have been ungodly easy and for once parents are picking them up early. They have 3 half days next week and then its officially summer. happyface

This week seemed exceptionally long, full moon drama and what-have-ya, so glad Friday is finally here!!! happyface

Been a slow but good week here! The second week since school is out and only have had half or less of my dc kids so my assistant and I split time. It has been nice being with my own two sons...getting haircuts, pool time, or just me & them time. I can't complain this week! happyface

This is my first Friday of half days only.

For the summer months I am closing early on Fridays.

I have 4 kids in care on Fridays.

Two toddlers (age 15 and 18 months)
Two young preschoolers (both age 2)

ALL are gone by noon.

So Fridays all summer are only half days with full days pay!

This was my first week at a new center, so I am more mentally exhausted (I had 48 children's names to learn) than anything. Overall it seems like a really nice center, so I'm actually pretty excited about it. Just tired from my week of trying to figure everything out.
