    Nightmares

I have a 3 yo who wakes up every nap with a nightmare. Screaming, crying where he is not totally awake. These can last up to 10 minutes. If I ask him later about them, he can't remember even having been crying. So more like night terrors. I now just leave him and he will eventually resettle.

I've talked to mom and she said that he has them at home sometimes.

Has anyone experienced this with a dck before?

Thanks. Was pretty bang on with everything: his reactions, him being over tired, new situation (he's only been here 6 weeks).

I will have to share with mom b/c she wants to cut out his nap all together. He's here for 10 hours, gets dropped off at an early-for-him time, and is super tired (he tells me he is tired in the mornings). He sleeps for a solid 2+ hours.

My own son had these for a short while when he was younger. I guess I just assumed they would only happen at night. You know what they say about assume
