Just wondering, if anyone does anything special for the kids leaving their care to go to school. I have 2 that will start school next year, had them both since babies, i am trying to think of something special to do for them. Any ideas?

Last year I had one that was leaving me on a full-time basis to go to preschool. I gave her an inexpensive plastic backpack with school supplies (crayons, paper, glue, etc). She loved it! She still comes on days she doesn't have preschool.
For those that are leaving permanently, I give them a hard covered copy of Oh, the Places You'll Go! with a note from me inside and a picture of the daycare crew.
