I am just starting out in the childcare, I have always wanted to open up my own childcare, but did not know how to. So I have decided to start from my home. I am opening up in June 2015. Should I get my license?

Hi All,
I was inquiring about getting my license, I just do not have anyone that is dedicated to be my backup provider if I shall get my license. Does anyone have any input on this?
