It's a Mommy Day

Don't want to beat a dead horse, but I will anyway. Just thought it was when DCM picked up DCB and said, "let's get on with our mommy day! I have to go back to work tomorrow." DCM was off today, and she dropped DCB off here at 8:30, and picked up at 3:35. That's 3 extra hours with him than she would ever have on a Wed, which is better than open to close, for sure. And in her defense, she did have a dr appt. Not a 7-hour one, but an appt that would be difficult with the baby. Just thought it was kinda funny...

It's sad...but many parents nowadays think they deserve kudos and an award for spending ANY time with their own kids.

So I guess we have to be happy when they make a few extra hours for their little ones. !!
