I wash any that have been used that day immediately after i close or during nap. All other toys get washed weekly. Most of my toys are in plastic containers that are closed shut when not being used. They get put away washed so I do not need to go back over them weekly.

when they are soiled, when I have more than one that constantly mouths things, if I have an ill child, when I pull them to put away. teethers, baby toys every time they are used.
Honestly, all the toys- a couple times a year.

I have healthy kids. A little bit of a germ pool is good.

I spray the play room and toys with lysol after closing each day, but I only actually "wash" the ones I see in a mouth. Or every day or two if someone is sick.

If one of the kids are sick I tend to go thermonuclear on toys at the end of each day.

Right now I have 2 infants so toys that have been mouthed/ chewed on get washed daily. The rest get done weekly.

Mouthed toys go in a bin to be washed. I wash play dishes, food, phones, weekly-they go through the dish washer. I wipe most toys every few days with Clorax wipes.
