    Rest Mats

How do you keep your foam mats from tearing and falling apart?

I don't let the kids do anything but sleep on them. I don't allow them to fold them, move them, play with them or put them away themselves.

It saves on wear and tear if I just do the folding and putting away myself.

On average, my mats have lasted 5 or more years before I've had to replace.

Same here, the mats are laid out by me. They are folded and put up high by me. They are only used for sleeping. The kids are not allowed to jump on them, play with them etc. Mine have lasted for years too. I've been open for over 8 years and have only had to replace them once cuz they were starting to get some seam rips, but even then I used grant money.

Honestly, I don't remember. I found them online, they were about $25-30 each. I can see if I can find them and post a link for you. Some I bought at a rummage sale from a lady closing her daycare and I know that none of the times I bought new ones were they ever the same brand as before.
