How to word a term letter, when DCP gives notice, but no last day?

I am trying to help another daycare friend of mine word a "term" letter to a family who gave her notice today. They gave it verbally, but didn't give a last day. She was actually getting ready to term this family, so she is relived they did this. She wants to give them a set last day, so it's not left open and he doesn't say longer than 2 weeks. How would you word the term letter for this family?
