You know those surveys we throw away

You know the ones, you go someplace and get your receipt and they say "hey fill out this survey blah blah". Well I always tossed them figured didn't matter the info probably goes into a big black hole. You know what? Someone DOES read those!!! My daughter came home from work last night and asked me to go cash in her $2 winning lottery ticket since she isn't 18. Of course our question was where did you get that? We don't play the lottery, our religion frowns on it, but I haven't banned it in the house either. Anyway, a family had come into Taco Bell with an autistic boy, and Erica asked the parents if there was anything she could do to help him be more comfortable such as turn down the music. They mentioned her on their survey, and she got the lottery ticket as a reward. I guess that is standard procedure if you are named in a positive way on a survey at her place. I will quit just tossing them now I think.

Last April my DH won an ALL expenses paid VIP trip to Las Vegas from a second chance lottery ticket drawing!!

He won $10,000 more while we were there (not through casino though) but I agree... never toss out your second chances... Youd be surprised at how many folks do and therefore odds are better for winning something like that than winning in the first place.

I guess she won't get a second chances deal since she won $2, but whatever . I gave her the choice of another ticket or $2, she wants the $2. She is frugal like her mom .
