    Hot cocoa

I have this one dcb who walks in with a hot cocoa, from that donut place, almost everyday. It's the same routine. He walks in with it, needs one ice cube because it's so hot, plunks the ice in and waits for a min before chugging it all down in less than five minutes. Ugh. Another sugar filled kid for me to deal with. Thanks dcm!

    Just don't allow it!

I have a no outside food or drink policy. If I didn't, I would have kids dropped off drinking (and spilling) juice everywhere and covered in chocolate donuts....which they would wipe all over my furniture........

Nope! that would upset me daily. I don't allow outside food or drinks.

I would turn dcm and dcb away at the door. I have a no outside food or brink policy too. It says to finish it in the car if you must. And the child's mouth must be empty before they enter the daycare.

Type something up and put a sign on the door. No food or drinks brought in from outside without prior approval.

My policies say no outside food brought in unless it's due to an allergy, in which case I need a Dr's note.

I'd wait until Mom & Dad leave, then take the hot cocoa away, put it in the fridge, then give it to them at the end of the day - IF he remembers to ask about it.
