Totally agree! I get this all the time since I have all part timers...."oh, so and so didn't go at all this weekend"...5 mins after drop off, you know what happens!
I once sat all my dc kids down before we went outside and told them all that it's ok to go poop at home, and they don't have to just save it for here ::

I often attributed this to the kids being more active in our care vs at home. But, if they do it right after drop off that is another story- Flag

I have one who, I'm convinced, gets nothing but crackers/cereal and milk bottles on the weekend.
We eat at regular times here and Monday's the kid has a hardish stool once, then Tuesday he poops like 3 times here, Wed another 3 times, Thurs and Fri are once or twice. All the poops except Monday's are normal, not hard not gooshy just normal.- Flag

I know! Dcg1 was on vacation for a week. Mom said she called the Dr. because she was so constipated. First day back from vacation, she poops twice!- Flag

I had a newly potty trained dcb years ago, who was very much into routines and keeping everything the same. He'd come in on Mondays saying "My tummy hurts." Soon after, he'd poop. His mom would jokingly say I had a magical toilet here--she tried to get him to go at home, but he wouldn't.- Flag
