Heaven forbid a child learns how to lay on the floor without constant movement

My husband tried to talk me into this for our little one. I just cracked up and said no. Let the chip self soothe a bit. I lay him in the floor with toys & he loves it! No motion necessary.

I have one, and don't think they work very well for soothing fussy babies.
I have tried using this with two infants so far, with no luck, and had to switch back to my old swing that they liked much better

1. babies still shouldn't be sleeping in it. Positional asphyxia.

2. What is wrong with learning to self soothe- seems like a no cry fix.

3. What is wrong with actually holding/rocking/swaying a fussy baby.
