Just Said Goodbye to DCG

I had posted previously about dcg3 whose parents are going through a divorce. Well, today was her last day. Mom and her are moving out of the area and starting a new life. We had ice cream and a dance party. It was bittersweet saying goodbye. I really hope she does well. The only other dcks I've said goodbye to were because of terming.

I am sure that is hard, but it may be better than getting involved in divorce drama.

THIS IS one of the hardest things about this job... The kids are here for a short stay. maybe a few years, maybe a few months, maybe a few days.

I used to get soooooo attached to the kids that i would cry my eyes out when they left no matter the reason....Now i don't let myself get so attached anymore, but still love the life out of them.

It does get easier.......
