A friend of mine that also does daycare found out that a small house at the end of my mom road is for rent. It is currently used as a gathering place for men. Well that is the name on the building. I think it is some private man group. Anyway. They are no longer renting the house. It has a large parking lot because the parking lot is shared with a church. It has one main front entrance and then two in the back. It would be a great spot for a daycare or even a before/after school spot for the pre-k school a few blocks over. (The pre-k system here doesn't have before/after school and weird hours) I have to call today and find out what the rent would be and look up the center regulations to even know if it would work.
Down side is that I would have to wake my kids up and take them with me where now they can sleep. That is the biggest negative issue.
