One of my kiddos has something very similar. I think it may be the same seat but a diffeent color..... It's HEAVY! Much heavier than other convertible seats I've used, but it also has a ton more padding. As far as price, thats pretty decent. DCK's was around $135 at Walmart here.

My 7 1/2 yo grandson has the Nautilus. He's still very comfortable in it I believe that dd paid closer to $175 when she bought it about 5 yrs ago. At that time, it was one of the few recommended for plane travel.

That looks like a great child seat and good price. I like the head support, belt harness and cup holder. It also looks comfortable.

I have a Nautilus. It's ok. I LOVE my Harmony Defender. It's narrower, harnesses longer, and is under $100.

I have had this seat for years but paid closer to $200 for it.
So far the only complaint my now 7 year old has had about it is that the seat itself provides no cushion for the hiney. When on a road trip he started crying two hours into the trip because his bottom hurt so bad. He is not one to cry much at all. I lifted up the small liner of material to only realize there is only a lining over the hard plastic seat.

So short trips it's been great. On long trip we have had to pull out the Eddie bower longer. That one was about 300

My son is tiny. He's almost 8 and still only weights 42 lbs. he's not quite 3 ft yet. Poor guy is always the smallest in everything he does. This car seat is perfect for him. We love it.

Daycare, my daughter turned 8 back in December and she's finally 4 ft tall and weighs 50 pounds. She is the tiniest kid in her grade and about the size of most 5 year Olds around here.

It is a very well known seat. The price is pretty good too. However, it is wide and will not work in a three across. Do you mind me asking the age of the child or children that will be using the seat?

The Graco Nautilus 3 in 1, the Nautilus 1 and Nautilus Elite are included in the recall.

I am sure it's only specific models manufactured at a certain time but due to the companies behavior with how they handled the recall, I would not feel comfortable using or buying a safety seat from Graco.

I do not like the company anymore for the same reason.

It is against the law for car seat makes to sell car seats that are recalled. If you ordered one, you would get one that doesn't have the recalled part. Evenflo had a similar recall. You just needed to replace the crotch buckle and they sent one to me for free.

They are also getting fined 10 million dollars for it taking so long.
