Glad your dc family is okay!
I've had dc parents that *have* gotten in car accidents/totaled cars either on the way to drop off their kids - or to pick up. So I tell clients at their initial interviews that after 1 hour from their expected time for drop-offs and 1/2 hour from their expected pick-up time - that's when I start calling
