I make children smile,
I make friends with a future doctor or lawyer or maybe even president ......
I make kids understand patience, that love is blind, acceptance, to not judge and to overcome.
I make up silly songs, some times while wearing silly clothes
I make 247 home cooked meals every week and enjoy every last second of it.
I make friendships that last a life time
I make the impossible, possible and I do it every day with a smile in my face.
Do I make money, sure, but no one would believe me if I told them the hours I worked, money I pocketed and that I get up and do it again every single day.

I make about $220 per day GROSS. This does not include any expenses. It also includes an average CACFP reimbursement for the month. This is the max I could make because I am full with 8 kids. At times I make less depending on how my ratios work out.- Flag

Per day: (12 kids)
Gross: 380
Net: 240
Per week: 1200
Hours I work: 55
So it seems I net approx. $22 an hour. But the luxury of having my own business and not having a boss = priceless! Being around happy, sweet smiles all day is a fringe benefit. Wouldn't trade this for anything in the world.- Flag
