Those who are so use to snow and driving in it. My area we are not prone to those conditions. The picture attached was yesterday on the interstate down the street from me. I still have no idea how the guy did this but it was crazy
For all your Northern-Mid west people

Out in the semi with hubby last summer I saw so much crazy stuff on dry roads. Sometimes you just wonder how in the world people managed to get a license or keep one.

My dad and brother are both truckers. I use to work for a moving company with all types of truckers in and out. They would tell me stories and it is crazy. Plus people think truckers can stop on a dime and they get cut off all the time. Plus people ride in their blind spot not realizing they can't see you down there. The trucker talk around my dads at holidays is funny because most people when you hear 4-wheeler are thinking actual 4-wheelers not a car so they get all confused.- Flag

I live in upstate NY, and I maintain that most people grossly overestimate their ability to drive in poor weather/road conditions. *Especially* when they have four-wheel drive. We've had two local fatalities just this past month due to poor road conditions. The only thing northern states do better is clear the snow/ice faster than southern states, so roads are passable more quickly.
Don't be fooled, just because someone is from Michigan, or Buffalo NY or South Dakota doesn't mean they'd drive any better than you on a sheet of ice- Flag

We don't get much either. Sometimes we get an inch or two a year and then nothing for 3-years. This year it is back to back- Flag

Every time it snows here I swear half the population acts as if they've never seen snow on roads before.
It doesn't bother me much but I am a cautious driver by nature anyways and get grief from lots of others for driving like a "grandma" and I just laugh and point out that I've never had an accident (other than hitting a deer) or a ticket since I started driving 30 years ago.- Flag

We got another 8 inches today and it is still coming down. I turned on the news and yet again another one is hanging on a jersey wall. An SUV this time. I don't understand how they get up there.- Flag
