The Social Groups on this Forum

I was just looking through the different social groups and thought I would like to join a couple of them. But then I noticed that the last posts on them were in 2013. I guess no one's using them anymore and are just posting new threads on the regular forums instead.

Is anyone still posting in the social groups anymore? I also thought maybe my posting dates aren't updating because I'm not a member of those groups.

I just hit "new posts" and act accordingly, or occasionally pose a question. That's pretty much all time will allow for me.
