i have had dcg since she was 3 months old. She is now 5.She just started kindergarten this past fall.
She has always been good at my house while in my care. All of the sudden in the past few weeks, she has completed done a 180.
Everytime the other kids want to play a game, she is fighting them. She constantly "changes her mind" on if she wants to do an activity. She has started to get physical with the other kids (pushing/hitting), and is kind of mean - always saying she is better or bragging. And last week, was straight out saying no when I was asking her to do things.
Since she nor any other child has ever done this while in my care, I am a bit lost on how to handle her. I spoke with DCM but she will basically do anything to stop her children from crying (which is probably part of the problem). As far as I know, there are no big changes in her life so not sure what is triggering this behavior.
Anyone else deal with this? Any advice/ suggestions are appreciated. TYIA!
