    I Wish I Could Find.....

A toddler sled that seats 2 toddlers. Ya know those single seating toddler sleds, like LT makes, with the higher backs? Do they have anything where you can pack in 2 lil tots? It's so inconvenient to pull 2 single sleds back and forth to the back yard every time we go out. And if I let them walk they do the rubber legs things or try to escape. My littlest are 19 months and almost 2 yo.
And next winter I'll need one even more as I might very well have 2 1yo's.

Now that I've written this, it feels familiar. I've probably asked this same question here before. Oops. But maybe there will be new knowledge?

    Thanks!!

There are wooden one that can hold two. I think I have this one (except mine came from a tag sale or thrift store).

I saw that sled(I think exact one) on amazon but they only had 1 review and it was a 1 star. But yes, that's exactly what I'd like.
Does it have buckles to strap them in? My kiddos love to jump out of things which is why I cannot just pull them on a regular sled. But maybe with the sides/back they wouldn't be able to.
Nothingwithoutjoy, that one might work. Do you like it??

I looked at that nice two-seater on Amazon, and the one star threw me, too. But then I read it. It said it was broken, which, yes, is an issue. (Though depending on how it was handled by the company, doesn't necessarily mean it's no good. Could have been a shipping issue.) But they go on to say that it's not strong enough for their 37.5 lb. "toddler." In my book, that's not a toddler. I think if I were buying one for your reason, I'd buy that one and plan to send it back if it's junk. Amazon's really good about returns.

I do like my sled very much. Well made; strong enough to pull any of the kids; has lasted several years. I should add, though, that I don't generally pull the kids in it--they pull each other far more often. So I'm not a good one to speak to how easy it is to pull--it's pretty heavy.

I have two of the infant sleds with the buckles and just tie the rope of one to the rope of the other and pull. It's not completely straight on but gets the job done so I only have one rope to hold onto and the kids get a ride. That said, I only do that with my non-walkers. If they can walk inside they walk outside.

This is so creepy! I clicked on the LL Bean link to look at the sled. I then switched over to facebook. Guess what popped up on my page as a "suggested post"? Yup-the tandem LL Bean sled. I think I need better privacy settings somewhere!
