Tomorrow will be my last day at my current center. I've been there as a preschool teacher for over a year and many of my children have known me for that entire time. A couple of them were also at my last center (where I was a toddler teacher) and so they've known me even longer.
I've been training my replacement and she's been taking over more and more of the responsibility and leadership for my class each day. Parents have also been informed and I know some of them have talked to their children about it.
The children have all been acting off all week and my clingy/cuddly ones are even clingier/cuddlier than usual. I know the next few weeks will be hard for them regardless, but I do want to make the transition as easy on them and my replacement as possible.
Ideas?
