Do I Let Her Wear Undies?

What do you guys do when a dck uses the potty just fine at daycare but not at home?

I have a dck who, at the end of this week (assuming all goes well) will be 2 weeks accident free at daycare, but doesn't use the potty at home at all from what I understand.

Do I tell her parents she can come in undies if all goes well tomorrow and Friday?

I would tell the parents that if they are willing to try putting her in underwear at home (maybe over the weekend?) then she can at daycare too, is a great time/opportunity to switch into undies since she has done so well (and you know she can succeed).

I think that if she only wear undies at daycare and not a home accidents are more likely to happen.

I'm a huge fan of the pull up over underwear- keeps your floor protected, just in case. That's what I would do, until parents fully get on board. There could be some regression.
I've had several kids trained here, but not at home. Then, one day the parent decides to "potty train", after I've already trained them, and then they are so happy with how quickly "they" trained their child.

Wow - "they" did such a good job ::::::::

I had a dcb 3, who I put in underwear when he arrived (I had some here I let him use), he was dry all day, then put the diaper on him when it was pick up time. He would pee in the diaper here if he was dry, but did perfect in underwear. He was not even close at home, but he had a very unstable home life.

I have this problem with a 6 year old!! Won't use bathroom anywhere but daycare. As soon as the pull up is on.....it gets filled with pee. If school is out, big kid underwear go on and we do just perfect here. Parents have had the child tested for every bladder problem under the sun, but obviously it's just a psychological issue, but who am I....only the daycare lady and I don't know anything

I have a 3 yr old DCB that wears underwear here but diapers and pull ups at home. He is part time and about three weeks ago I had the mom bring underwear for him. She asked if I was sure he was ready because he refuses to go at home and hides in corners and poops as well as poops in the tub still. He comes with a diaper over his underwear but I remove the diaper. He's been accident free here for all three weeks.
