Hello Everyone!
I'm new here, though I have lurked around for awhile. I am currently watching two children out of their house. The mother is a single mother and asked me to apply for a license so she can get assistance. I agreed to do and she gave me a number to call. When I called the number the lady asked me a series of questions to see what packet of information she needed to send me. I didn't qualify to care for children out of my apartment because I live on the third floor (which is fine). I told her I watch the kids at my clients house. She said "oh, then you would qualify for a nanny packet". Then she asked me how many kids am I caring for and I told her two. Well, then she said in order for me to apply for the nanny packet, that my client needs to have three kids! I thought that was weird. Anywho, I called back the next day to order the nanny packet to fill out. Once I received it, I read everything very carefully and it doesn't mention anything about the parent needing to have 3 kids to qualify for assistance. I'm so confused can anybody explain this to and and help shed light on this. Thank you so much.
