Oh I don't clean up- they do but that is how I judge what is out and what is in combination with other toys- so I watch that I don't have tons with small pieces out at the same time that if they were dumped together would be hard to sort.

I wished I would be more organized with this kind of thing! I am doing good to keep up with the coloring pages and activities my curriculum I use has! I taught school for 10 years and had to, of course, have everything prepared or get a slap on the wrist, so I think I've let myself relax in that area too much now that someone isn't watching my every move. As I do my room redo, I plan to make themed sensory bins since I will have a good place to store them!! I guess I've been relaxed too because this is my first year, and we moved halfway through...so having the time to get my space like I want it hasn't really been an option:/. I am excited to finally get things more in order!!

My new space is quite minimal compared to my old one. I rotate out half the toys weekly so it keeps things fresh. When I look at it without kids I often think there isn't enough in it, but the kids are never bored.

Love your space! You ladies have huge areas to work with! How on earth do you keep the babies from tearing down your number posters and such?!?! That's why I made mine on the chalkboard, up high, but the only thing I don't like is that it is not interactive:/. I am thinking of making a space on the wall and putting doors on it so I can close it up when it's not in use! Maybe I just have some wild babies. Two of them are always into something they shouldn't be:/

Thanks! I thought the babies would tear down my posters , they just haven't gotten around to it yet I figure since these posters cost me a few buck on amazon (used with a crease or 2 in them) it was worth making them interactive and if the rip its not a big deal. Having doors that close on it would be super neat.

I think you guys would all walk in my playroom and be like, "The clutter! The clutter!"

But I enjoy seeing everyone's ideas. Very cool!

I just started an intense whole house decluttering and possession reduction project. Not lying, I'm afraid to reach the toys part. I have SO MUCH. anbd most of it is away because I can't figure out how to arrange things. Sigh.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Too funny! I'm sure you have a great space! Mine is still a work in progress!

I had a ton at one point from never purging since my DD was born 3 years ago! I finally at least got everything sorted to a keep and purge pile, but haven't actually gotten rid of it all yet! I have literally rearranged the play room 3 times since I moved 6 months ago! I just can't get it exactly how I want it! Mostly because it's so dang expensive to get all the stuff to organize it all!
