    Stacking cribs

Are these cribs allowed? It says they meet all standards.

All the states I have ever done care in (6) is a big fat NO; some places might get away with it (centers), but I don't think this flies with licensing for home childcares

Ok I didn't think so. I'm surprise they still sell them. When it said that they meet all the requirements, i thought maybe something had changed.
      Guess not.
      Thanks!

That link made me smile-just today, I was fantasizing about these for the kids: http://www.spa4paws.com/images/cages.jpg

I agree, though, that the stacking cribs are likely not to pass in any state.

Even if they were allowed I don't like them. The bottom seems like a jail and claustrophobic and I couldn't find dimensions (aside from the mattress) and I'm fairly short, it doesn't seem like I would be able to quickly & safely get the child from the top one! You would think they would want a picture of a happy baby in the ad, the baby doesn't look very happy

Our church has them and they actually aren't that tall.
The bottom one pulls out, so the child doesn't have to sleep in the "cave" but when not in use, you can push it back under to save space.

              I wish they were allowed.
