I Am So Very Very Lucky

I had to close daycare yesterday and today, because of a nasty stomach bug that's been going around for 3 weeks. I even mentioned to someone I must have an iron-clad immunity because I hadn't gotten sick in sooo long.
Then Tuesday night it hit. And hit. But I'm a whole bunch better now.
Anyways, every single one of my daycare parents asked me if I needed anything, if there was anything they could do, to take as much time off as I needed. Not a one moaned about what they were going to do.

My wish for all you providers here, is simply to have the same caliber of caring parents that I have.

We had it here a couple weeks ago. Came back from a 2 week vacation on Monday, called in sick on Thursday and Friday. DH and teenager had it too on Friday.

Everyone was pretty understanding. One mom made a comment about being out of leave, and then SHE got it the next Thursday and Friday (it was rampant around our area). She took unpaid days, I guess.
