Throw away or can I use them now?

I have some pom poms from my sensory table that the kids were using about a month ago when one child came down with Hand Foot Mouth. I bagged them up and sanitized the sensory bin. Can I bring them back out or is there way to sanitize them? Or should I toss them?

on the one hand, pompoms are cheap. On the other, the virus almost certainly doesn't live that long off a human host so they're probably fine.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Agree with Silver's logic, and she's probably right. I am the OCD type that would throw them away, because the mere thought of the possibility of it being a contagion would have me freaking out the entire time any child used them ::
