    Should I Call?

I have a new DCB who is supposed to start Monday. His mom was supposed to bring back the signed paperwork on Wednesday or Thursday. I still don't have anything. I want to call and ask her about it, but I don't want to seem like I'm chasing them/desperate. It would be nice for planning purposes though to know what time he's coming Monday (if they haven't changed their mind about using my services) Should I call and ask about the paperwork?

    Yes

I would. I am a new provider and am a very timid person but there were those few moments where I just made that needful response and it made all the difference in the end. I'd text. I don't think it is desperate in the least to want to know if dck is even going to show up since you don't have the ppwork or a schedule. I'd end it with a, Have a great day!. You might even say something like I'll need to know by tonight so that I can prepare for Monday morning.

Different perspective from a long time provider but I would not call. I don't follow up on things adults are responsible for. It's just not part of how I run my business. If they want to attend my program they need to adhere to the requirements.

I have a new one starting Monday too and if they show up on Monday without completed paperwork they'll be turned away at the door.

If I start getting in the habit of following up or reminding clients to do what I've already asked them to do they will expect me to always remind and follow up and that's just not something I want to be responsible for.

You don't know what time he is coming? Didn't you discuss drop off and pick up hours?
