The day from you know where

This morning my oldest dd vomited at breakfast. This was just after 7 (I open at 7:30) No problem. My assistant was due today and DD is old enough to stay upstairs away from the dck's.

At 7:30 my assistant called out sick.

I had to call two families to let them know I could not transport to preschool (this should not be a big deal as it's in my contract that there will be times I can't transport even though I'm open) One family made special arrangements to have Grandma come from 40 minutes away to bring their 3 year old to preschool The other was fine with missing a day (or at least seemed fine)

The babies bottle of EBM leaked, so I had to use my frozen stash.
Check on DD and she now has a temp of 103.6

    Calgone, take me away!

It makes you just want to flop on the sofa and eat a pint of ice cream doesn't it?

Thank you! She seems to be coming around. No more vomiting and her fever has gone down. She was sick on Monday (sore throat and fever) and it seemed she was slowly getting better.
