How Do I Charge My Family That Wants To Go From Full Time To One Day Per Week?

Help! I just had a family lose a job and had to take 2 full time kids out of my day care. I was charging them a flat ft rate and technically if they will only be coming one day a week I should charge them an hourly rate. The hourly rate will be A LOT more than their usual day rate of $25.

I am fairly new at this and would like your opinion on what you would do in this situation. Thanks!

I charge $125 for 5 days a week( 25 per day) , I charge $30 per day if it is part time ( anything less than 5 days a week) .

I also let part timers know that full time clients come first . If I interview for a full time spot they may loose the part time spot .

Full time 5 day a week here is $150.

Drop in care is $45 per day.

NOTHING is reserved for drop in. They must call each morning to inquire about availability and all payments are required in cash at drop off.

Drop in kids are also not allowed to attend the first 30 minutes or last 30minutes of the day.
