Yesterday I hit my 7 year anniversary of being a daycare provider...tonight I go to put my name on the list for the sonography program...I am going to take the prereqs online and enroll in the actual program next Spring semester. I know I still have another year left of being a DCP, but am so glad to be working towards something else. I've had a real love/hate relationship with being a DCP these last 7 years, but now that all of my own children have gone to school, I know I need to pursue something else. Anyone else in the process of phasing out of being a DCP?
Ready to move on...

I actually love being a dcp, but I can't stand doing it in my own home. My kids are a bit older but not old enough to be home alone. So when my current term is up I plan on walking.- Flag

Yes, I have started too as well. I just received my home study manual from the government to study PAM (production animal medicine).
Then I Have 4 different dates to choose from, to go write the exam, and get my certificate, and then I can work in any veterinary clinic.happyface
I have truly had enough, Im dreading every morning, everyday.
My kids are 18, 13 and 9 so im getting the 2 younger ones ready to be on they're own for a couple hours, so they will be ok when I start work.
Im hoping to get this done by September!- Flag
